      Source of Pisces有一天眾神因為天氣佳之故，乃在河畔設宴。愛好音樂的眾神們快樂的唱歌和彈奏樂器，氣氛相當熱絡。突然傳來悽厲的叫聲，這就是肩膀下長出一百尾蛇，擁有大羽翼怪物的傑凡。眾神一看不妙，乃四處逃走，宙斯化為鳥，阿波羅化為烏鴉，赫拉化為牡牛，裘林梭斯化為山羊，眾神皆以動物之姿逃離。愛和美之女神阿弗羅裘特與其子戀愛之神耶羅斯乃化身為魚，遁入尤法拉特斯河中。那時彼此決定用緞帶將兩人尾巴綁在一起，永不分開，就這樣順利從怪物手中逃脫。母子倆就這樣以尾巴相連，永不分離的姿勢升天，這就是雙魚座的由來。
